Hi

I have WIndows Vista Ultimate 64bit. Everything is fine except today I connected my HV20 camcorder for the first time since reformat and it failed to locate drivers. I told it to look in System32 and it found drivers but said it could not find the file inside them.

THis problem happens with my phone and my firewire card aswell.

For some reason no hardware will locate drivers unless I tell it to look in System32 but the drivers do not install correctly.

Why is this happening? drivers used to install fine.

The only change I can think of right now is that I installed Patition Magic that is not compatible with this OS and now when I start the computer I get the error "xmnt2002 file missing. Skipping autocheck..." before login. THis occured after I uninstalled Partition magic.

PLease help
Thanks
