I had windows crash on me after I installed an update the other night, no matter what I tried my laptop just would not reload windows. So I reinstalled Vista and now I can't get it to work really. It won't recognize any wireless, putting the ethernet cable in doesn't help. Also, I had my security password key on my laptop for my wireless internet. I have 2 other pc's connected to wireless and I'm curious if somewhere on them can I grab that key so I can have it again. Thanks for the help!

If I understood you correctly, you were able to re-install vista, but not able to acces the internet? If so, click start, then right click on my computer, then click properties, go to the hardware tab, then device manager, now look at what devices do not have the drivers installed, if your wireless isn't installed, then you'll just need to download to drivers from your manufacturer's website with ethernet cord, if your ethernet port isn't installed...then you'll need to get the drivers on another pc and transfer it over some how..

EDIT: If you're unable to get the password, just click the reset button on your router, it will reset all settings, including your password, you'll just have to set things back up, which would only take a few minutes.
