I'm just curious what everyone's rating is for their harddrive. Mine is only 5.9 with a 500gb 7200rpm seagate . What exacly does it take to score in the 7 range?

My HDD rating is a 7.5. That's with a 160GB Intel G2 X-25M SSD ($450) and a 7200RPM 1TB Samsung F3 Spinpoint HDD ($90). I actually think that the HDD is bringing my score down lol, but I'm not sure if Windows averages the two drives together or only takes the drive it's on into account. Either way, I suspect that the only way to get a 7.9 on the HDD score is to have an SLC SDD.
For the record I also have "only" a 7.7 on my GPU score despite having an HD5970 (we'll see how much that changes once I OC it), a 7.7 on my CPU score despite having an i7 930 OC'd to 4.01GHz, and a 7.8 on my RAM score which is really weird considering that it was 7.7 before I gave it a slight downclock (1600MHz to 1527.2MHz).
Yeah, I'm not putting too much stock in their values. I managed to get a 7.6 for my gpu and I'm only have a 5830.
[QUOTE="osiris667"]Do you have your gtx260 216 ooverclocked alot? The reason I ask was because my gtx260 216 was only able to get a 5.9.wei isn't to be taken seriously, but it's fun :P
i got 5.4 because of the hdd, 7.2 gtx 260 and 6.7 c2d 2.8ghz and ram
Timbury
nope, everything at stock clocks, using the 197.45 64bit w7 drivers
see. i told you wei isn't to be taken seriously :D exact same cards, big differences in score
