I just got an iPhone, and when I first plugged it in, it told me that I had to reinstall a 64bit version of iTunes. "OK whatever" I say. I uninstall it and restart my computer.

I download the 64bit version from here. When I install, it looks like it almost finishes, but then says "Rolling back progress" or something and uninstalls everything, telling me that there was an error and to try again later. I download it again, try the previous installer (that worked) and it did the same thing. When I try to change the install location, it says Windows installer has encountered an error and crashes.

This leads me to believe that Windows is at fault, not iTunes.

Can anyone help me out? I just got the iPhone and it's very annoying not to be able to do anything. Thanks in advance.
