Hi i turned my computer on used it for like 3 hours everything was fine when the blue screen poped up and booted my computer. But this time it restarted like 5 times in a row so i shut it off. Now i turn it on and it stays at the black windows xp screen and dosnt go from there. Does anytone nknow whats wrong?

did you check ur temps?? and did you install very many new programs that could've changed some settings??

i actually got my computer back today from getting fixed and it was working fine for a while. I tought it might have benn the temperatutre too cause i touched the graphics card and it was very hot. I am reistalling windows again but i dont know. And yeah since i got my computer i intalled only 2 or 3 programs. Any help?

Try uninstalling the recent programs and see if the blue screen still appears. It has happened to me before and i just removed the program that caused it, which fixed the problem.

Are you sure the bios setting are correct for the CPU or maybe the memory timing/mhz? Sounds a lot like it's overclocked. Did you buy it from someone that built it for you? Could be that s/he overclocked it and it's very unstable. Either that or the CPU is overheating, bigtime... or the CPU/chipset, isn't getting enough voltage....

I seriously doubt this has anything to do with windows.... It's most likely hardware related.
