Things like Halo 2 you will not be able to play on XP. They have a DirectX 9 version of Lost Planet though, if that's what you mean.
Even if you got Vista on your current computer you probably couldn't run Halo 2 on it because you'd need to upgrade your video card (by the sound of it). Vista would lag anyway, I'm assuming this though, so I don't know.
If your looking to upgrade to Vista post your computer specs here.
Halo 2 spec requirements is 2 GHz P4 trocessor, 1 GB, Nvidia 6100 or ATi X700 or higher
recomends Dual core CPU, 2 GB , Nvidia 7 series
My computer runs it fine
uuummm, im new to the whole know everything about my computer thing, i spend most of my time outside, where do i find out about my ps specs?73RM1NA70R
That rigth there is where i start ignoring you. Typical jock looking down on nerds.
Only crappy games requires Vista. And Vista is just a new looking XP with more annoying bugs. Not worth the money I can assure you.BounceDKi will have to call you out for that. vista is great. people just like to hate on it much like when Xp came out and everyone said they would rather stick with 98...
To OP: newer games that only run on DX10 will only run on vista since XP can not go past DX9c.
to find out your systems specs go to controle pannel, performance and maintence, and click system. I will say tho' that if you bought your PC over 2yrs ago and it was cheep, it more than not will not run it.
