I am looking to get a new computer soon and I was wondering if I should get a computer with windows 7 or if I should get vista. one of my friends told me to get vista even though it is a "memory hog" because when windows 7 comes out Microsoft will have a lot of bug to work out because it is new. is my friend right? or should i just wait and get windows 7? please help.

I use the WIndows 7 RC and aside from the few antivirus/firewall programs out for it, It's better than Vista.

That is exactly how I feel. I tried the beta of Win7, and I liked it, but it was not worth it considering that Vista worked just fine, and the beta would expire eventually. Same with the RC, I see no reason for me to use it, just for a little while. Now, my next system, whenever that might be, will almost definitely use Win7, unless it is already replaced.
