Hello guys.

I just re-installed Windows recently, and I just discovered something very odd. My installation won't boot unless I keep the Windows DVD in the DVD-ROM drive.

Otherwise, I get an error message saying: "Bootmgr is missing - Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart."

I've also tried many different techniques to fix this problem over the last few days, but to no avail. It seems as though the bootmgr is corrupted or something. Here's some output from EasyBCD, perhaps that might help me solve my problem:

Stick the DVD in the disc in the drive, reboot, and select the option to repair windows. You might need to do it twice.

Already tried that. Many times. Doesn't seem to work.

I believe that it's because the bootmgr is damaged on the hard drive or something... The entry from EasyBCD seems to indicate this...
