wing commander is reborn!!!!

wing commander is rather famous for being one of two franchises EA burned that had huge player bases. ever since wing commander 4 those who have kept faith with the franchise have been playing wc4 in their spare time or holding a silent prayers of a new game. now a fan amde production ahs set loose win commander: a new dawn. this game is 100% free and has 60 or so missions if you count the tutorial.. which is little more than imported source code from an earlier wing commander game.

Well you do have "Standoff" right, so there was something to kill time while WC Saga was made. Also recall WC Arena with its asteroids esque single player and co-op multi for Xbox. And the fact that most of the SP content was cut and what fans got was, mostly good multiplayer experience, but even that was limited.

As to WC Saga I like it, but have few points that cause me irritation. Some of the banter dialog you cant skip, with certain missions you hear it to much and it WILL get on your nerves. Chasing missles and escort missions, youl know what I mean if you play it. Overall it gives as good as full game for its content, so I recomend this Mod anybody who likes space combat sims.
