Hi,

I'm looking to buy a new mouse & headphones, i don't need something expensive, it is for gaming but it doesn't have to be "especially made for gamers".

Mouse: I need a good wired one, without too much buttons, i also don't use mouse pad. I like Logitech mouses but it's not a must.

Headphones: I need one without a mic, i don't notice quality sounds, so something good and not too expensive will do the job for me.

I have a budget of 100$~ for both, can you please help me to pick?

About mouse, it depends on your grip type, whats yours? palm, claw or fingertip?

For headset I have TT eSport Shock and I like them so I can recommend on those.

So for mouse I'd definitely would recommend you Razer DeathAdder, if you don't like this mouse for some reason, let me know I'll recommend you other good clones.

Turned out that i also often use a claw grip, it depends on whatever i'm doing. Does this mouse still apply?

Not really, the mouse is perfect for palm grip only IMO, I can recommend you for using both grips - something hybrid like the Roccat Savu (50$) or Roccat Pure (50$); if you lean more on the claw grip go with the Savu if you lean more on the palm go with Pure.

Other good recommendations for Claw grip: Logitech G9X (if you can still find it), Razer Abyssus (30$), CM Havoc (45$), CM Recon (35$), CM Inferno (40$)

Other good recommendations for Palm grip: Corsair M30 (30$), CM Mizar (54$), SteelSeries Kana (50$), Zowie FK (60$).

I went in the end for the DeathAdder and i was surprised how comfortable this mouse feel, i was always sure that every mouse is pretty much the same and how big the differences could possibly be because this is "just a mouse". Will i ruin it if i'll use it without a pad? (last time i had a pad was like 10 years ago and i don't really like them).

Glad to hear that, well I gamed with simple 5$ Logitech or Microsoft mouse for years and that didn't block me from getting on top charts of competitive FPSs, but it's nice when you have extra thumb button and on the fly DPI changer, also the shape of the mouse really enchances your gaming; now gaming keyboards are overrated IMO, unless you use macros - there's no real reason for you to buy one (except for the LEDs)

Buy a gaming pad, they're optimized for laser mouses, buy them by thickness and size, if you have enough space and you do move your hand long distances because you love precision you should get a big mouse pad - that's no brainer, there're medium sized ones and even a really small ones.

Thickness is the major play here, there're mouse pads from 1.25mm up to 5mm, IMO the best feel is something between like 2.5mm or 3mm; if you move your mouse really fast in gaming you should lean towards thin mouse pads, if you're more into precision go for thicker.

It doesn't matter what brand you choose to pick - the difference between brands are prices and style.
