I am buying this gaming desktop and would like to know what is a good type of wireless card to buy since the PC wont be near an accessible area for internet.. So what is a good type of card to get and is it necessary to keep the modem card in the PC once i have the wireless card ?

They have so many different style wireless networking connections these days ranging from USB to running through the power lines. I'd suggest you do a little homework on this subject so you know what you are getting and are confident and happy It's the right choice for your needs and budget.

What type of network do you run now If any? That's obviously a good starting point If you have wireless router. Routers and wireless equipment are more about personal preferance these days anyways as any good N style router will have great coverage and usually a decent signal almost anywhere In the house, as N routers were designed with these functions In mind.
