I hope this is the right place to ask.

I'm trying to hook up a wireless 360 controller to my friend's computer, but it won't connect. I have the wireless adapter and the program installed, but whenever I press the connect button on the controller, the light spins around once and then it stops, without connecting to the computer. I had it connected to my computer, but I don't know if that's the problem. How can I get it to connect to his computer? Thanks.

You have to hit the sync button on both the reciever and the controller.

I've tried multiple times. I've tried doing them both simultaneously, hitting the receiver's first, hitting the controller's, etc. The receiver's light flashes for awhile when I press connect on it, and then it stops right when I hit connect on the controller - but it doesn't connect to the computer.

I thought for syncing wireless 360 controllers, you just hold down *Not press, hold down* the sync button on the controller then hit the receiver/xbox's sync button. That should get it connected.

Does Windows even detect that anything has been plugged in? Might be the port.
