I got home today, turned on the computer and I got the warning symbol for my wireless connection that says I have no or low connectivity. I have a strong connection (according to my wireless router) and the signal strength is just about 90%......

So, either my wireless card has crapped out or I'm having issues with my router. I know that my cable connection is good because I've got a 50' cable running from my modem to my computer now. This is really ugly looking because I've got cable running across the floor of my house and my dogs (two huskies) have a tendency to run like mad when they're playing. I don't want them tripping on the cord or damaging something.

Anyone have any ideas on where I should start at for trying to fix this problem?

I was thinking that I should un-install my wireless router and start all over, but I'm too dang lazy at the moment to do something like this. I also tried using the reset switch/button on the router, but that didn't help.

I have three computers connected wirelessly to my router and i get the same problem on all three when someone moves or knocks the router. To fix it we just make sure all the cables are in and just wait, eventually it connects, usually the next day

When I have this problem, I right click on the wireless internet icon in the task bar and hit 'repair' (I'm not sure how it's called in English because I use another language). If this doesn't work then I just have to wait until it connects from it's own.

My router sucks too. I usually unplug it (leave it unplugged for a couple of minutes) and plug it back in, or restart my computer, or a combination of the two. That usually gets it going again.
