Ok my parts are going to be here and UPS has about 3 hours to bring it here. Im really excited but the only thing i do have is my case...CM690. There's a bunch a wires and im afraid when i go to im gonna mess something up with the wires. And what should i do about Cable Management? Wires --> Motherboard, but where do the PSU's wires go? TO the parts and motherboard? Ugh im freaking out >.

... you didn't look this up before ordering? . The 24 pin connector goes to the mobo The square 4 pin to the mobo connector near the CPU The 6 pin connector to your graphics card The thinest connectors go to your SATA drives The 4 pin connector with all 4 pins in the row goes to directly powered fans and IDE devices . For cable management just go buy some zip ties, the sort that hold sapplings to stakes will do

the wires in the case are just for the case fans, the front usb, and front audio. the front usb plugs into the motherboard, and so does the front audio. The fans plug into the power supply 4-pin connectors. You will see. The power supply has a 20+4 connector that plugs into the motherboard, and a 4+4 cpu power plug that goes into the motherboard, then the 2 6+2 PCI-E connectors that go into the video card. Then one cable for the DVD and one for the hard drive. And thats about it for the cables. For cable management just use tie wraps and anchor them down out of the way how you like. The cables should be no problem really. Relax and take your time.

As someone who has a 690 this is what I have done. Its all about trying to leave as much space in the middle of the case while not obstructing the fans: The top section of the case where the USB, ESATA and Firewire ports are have cables dangling down, right? What you do is run them round the back of the case. You'll have to take off the other side panel (not the main one). Run them very neatly down to the bottom of the panel, making sure there is no slack, and pop them through the little hole in the bottom. Go to the other side of the case and pull the cables through and plug them into the motherboard. That gives you some extra space to play with in the main section of the case. Note, sliding the panel back on can be quite tight, which is why its important to make sure there is no slack round that end of the case, and that none of the wires overlap. Now, if you have installed a fan in the bottom of the case (which I would recommend) the fan enclosure itself can be of great use. You can run the very thick 24-pin motherboard power connector around the back of the fan and the friction from the lack of space should hold it in space neatly. Make sure the cable is touching the bottom of the case, so it doesn't hover over the fan, but is rather squashed between the fan enclosure and the case. You can then run the rest of the power cables round the front of the fan enclosure, using the same technique - use the tension of the cables to sandwich them against the side of the fan enclosure and the lip of the case. When you run the power cables to the SATA drives curl them round the fan until they reach the back of the case and then run them to the hard drives - that will leave space for the air coming in from the front fan. When running SATA data cables from the disk drives and HDD drives to the motherboard, use the included plastic clips in the case, they are a life saver. Basically you want any remaining cables which are dangling around that part of the case to the follow the path of the clips. Keep the HDD SATA data cables hugging close to the motherboard. If you have any spare cables left from the PSU lying around then try and tie them to the top of the PSU, out of the way. The same goes for any cables form the top of the case that you don't use - tuck them away in the CD drive enclosure area. Plastic fasteners are quite useful for securing loose cables to the case, but make sure you leave enough slack to get a pair of scissors in there to cut it if you need to! I'd post pics but its late and I cannot be arsed, maybe tomorrow if you would really like that :) Good luck!

Also, install the graphics card and run the square 4-pin power cable over the top of it. Try to adjust the tension so that it doesn't rest on the card but kind floats above it

don't panic. follow the instruction manuals that come with the motherboard and case and you WILL be fine.
