  I recently finished witcher 1 and planning to play 2 with imported save file but my problem is the,only quest i didnt finished is Won't Hurt a Bit quest from dentist.Do the person has any appearance in witcher 2? Have i missed any reward by not finishing the quest earlier(besided xp and gold in witcher 1)?Please enlighten me.... i am tempted to finish the quest but have no earlier save file.So should i play from the beginning or just play witcher 2 regardlessly.Please help i am withholding playing for now until get definitive answer.

From what I can tell the only things that actually carry over to TW2 are your weapons. Other than that, nothing you do in TW1 affects TW2.

There is one thing that you may say affect Witcher 2. [spoiler] If you sided with the Order on Witcher 1 then Siegfried appears on Witcher 2. He helps Geralt enter the city on Chapter 3 so you can avoid the dungeon [/spoiler]

You've missed out on a cool sword that carries over into the second game, but don't worry, you'll find better swords pretty early on.

Thanks guys i am playing witcher 2 right now and having a blast.I am surprised that i can maxed it with my GPU(Excluding ubersampling ofc).The combat is a tad hard, i am playing on normal difficulty.Can anyone give me some tips?which upgrade path should i choose,sword/alchemy or magic?

choose any upgrade path you would like, there are videos online and i think this website of recommneded upgrade paths to take.

if you know what you are doing then alchemy / magic is OP. But overall its not that important. Just go for whatever you want you should be able to beat the game even with a "bad" build.

Hmm its good to know than i wont be stuck because of bad skill choice like some other rpg.I think i will just play and choose whichever skill suit's me better.

I don't think the dentist makes an appearance in witcher 2. But I didn't complete the quest either so I wouldn't really know :/
