Step 1: Buy new video card - no more delay
Step 2: Buy new monitor - readable text
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit!
why is there a ten second delay sjmerTurn off ubersampling, that will raise the framerate quite a bit.
To make text bigger.

I've been using this solution since release and works great. I play on a tv at 1080p so it became difficult to read some of the text from a distance.
I got decent framerate, but I still have the unresposiveness sometimes. it's like Geralt doesn't WANT to dodge! Dodge damnit! No, dont just stand there, fire that Aard! Arggghhhh!!
Yip I've had that problem also, I've got a beast of a computer (2x 6950hd 2g, 1055T OC to 3.5ghz) and get unresponsive commands, but only sometimes. It's always the block command for me, pressing block just to stand there and get hit, very frustrating. Dont have any problems with the text though.
You don't need to multiple post, use the dropdown box on the lower right to edit a post.:)Yeah when your pounding keys on your keyboard to get a response somethings wrong!

I don't agree with this, monitor size or resolution sometimes doesn't matter on some games. Take for example LOTRO or even STEAM CHAT. Even if you have a big monitor the txt is really small to read.
Geralt is just probably summoning SUPER SAYAN for those ten seconds...Fix your computer, 10 second delay when you press a button? I beat the game twice and never had that once.

I was not having any delays, it must be your computer feeling a little overseen - try pad it on the side and maybe even buy it a new cpu/gpu. Alternatively you could also hug the computer and show you care about it, by powdering it's nose (reinstall windows/ox).

thisi never had a 10 second delay with anyhting in the witcher 2. your computer might just suck. update all your drivers and turn off ubersampling in witcher 2 if it is enabled.
