So i was thinking of buying The Witcher the other day when i found out they are improving it and coming out with an "enhanced" version. Anyway i was looking up what would be different about it and came across this on CD Projekt RED's website. Read this and try not to tell me that every other developer shouldn't have this much dedication to their product. They're even gonna upgrade those that bought the game already thru download so they arent left behind. Just thought they should get some recognition for what their doing is all. Yeah, Projekt Red is great. They're really nice people. And dedicated to their creation.
its the same price as the original one plus has a lot more stuff (even more stuff than most collector edition games). They're even redoing pretty much all the voice over and subtitle work for the english version. I played the demo earlier today and now i cant wait even more for this to be ready
I bought a normal copy of witcher for $30 at fry's a couple weeks ago. Finished it a few days ago, and it was one of the best RPGs I've played in ages. The combat was simplistic... but nonetheless on hard it was quite compelling and required some thinking. The story, atmosphere, customization and multiple choices throughout the game were all well done and its quite a value for even 1 playthrough. It also looks pretty damn good.
Anyways... don't worry about waiting for the enhanced edition as you can just download it with a normal copy of witcher. It was
