Witcher - Vista - Worked for Me

I can't get enough of the Witcher! If you are not playing this excellent game go get it right now! Also get the latest patch. If you are playing the game on Vista try launching from the Games Panel of the start menu for added stability. Also I turned off the environmental audio option, since doing these three things I don't have any crashes and I am playing and playing this great CRPG.

Does anybody know when the special edition is coming out?

may 16th for special edition i believe. though if u have the game then all the extra stuff will be released in a patch...u wont nee to rebuy the game.

and it is a crackin game. im kinda wondering whether i should continue playing though or wait and start again when the new patch arrives. i think ill wait....i wouldnt mind seeing all the improvements from the start.

It's supposed to work on Vista. However it suffers from poor optmization so it runs into the 32 bit 2gb application limit later in the game. Sometimes earlier for others. I think it's a decent rpg.

The witcher crash? i got it working at first moment with no crashes at all (been playing some hefty time too) i've got 64bit windows Ultimate (vista)
