How big of a difference is there between the two? graphics? script? could someone elaborate?
did they add more to the original storyline in addition to the extra stories?

- More animations, improved special effects, better optimisation and inventory
- A lot of dialogue rewritten and recorded again. Example: in the original, the old Sean Connery witcher told the others to respect a girl and then addresses her as "babe". Now he calls her "child".
Those are the biggest changes.
Buy it at retail if you can, it comes with a guide, a short story, music CDs, a map and a making-of DVD.

I have both editions and the enhanced versionput more stress onmy computer than crysis doesbecause it runs 32 bit vista... the game is "enhanced" for 64 bit.Unless you really, really want slightly better graphics, just go with the original. You can allways get v1.4 later on if you changeyour mind.
If you already have the original game, you can just update to patch 1.6 and it will be the same as Enhanced Edition.Blacklight2And that's why I pre-ordered the sequel. The developers did right by us legit customers the first time around. I'm all for supporting that kind of mentality. :)

good man. i have mine preordered as well. im itching to hit that preload button. i havent even finished the first game yet
Essentially. But they did release a retail version of the Enhanced version. CD Projekt really did an excellent job at standing by their product and supporting their fans. It has shown time and time again, and even more with The Witcher 2.The Enhanced Edition is a patch

Note however, that the Enhanced Edition comes with lots of goodies, such as a making-of DVD, music CD's, a map, a walkthrough, a novel. It's a truly great rerelease. =D
