Wolfenstein... Ah...

Well I just got the new Wolfenstein for PC today... So far its not really living up to the hype I've heard about it. Anyone else getting this feeling towards the game? I'm pretty iffy about if I like it or not. I'm an hour and ten minutes in. 22 % of the game completed already. It seems like its going to be a short game. Also I just felt like I was playing call of duty5. I finally ran into some monsters... Still disapointed. I'm going to make a final review when I beat the game but so far... It just doesn't feel like wolfenstein.

Hmm i was in your position when i 1st played wolfenstein,but after playing more and messing with weapons i started to really like it.Its not a perfect game but it is really a good game. Zillaschool

where did you hear the hype?

at this forum, people rarely talked about it prior to release; then there were several threads after its release, seem to me about half of them shouting game "sucks" and half of them crying game "rocks." I've never felt any hype whatsoever of this game?

The more you play it, the more fun it gets. The first 2-3 hours are kinda bad (although the first level is brilliant IMO).

I wonder how many reviewers got past those first levels. See, the Veil powers have offensive upgrades. Yet only a few reviews mention that, and most of them make fun of the bullet time - which has an incredible upgrade that transforms it into one of the best weapons you have.

I'm at 50 % completion now. Kinda getting into it a bit more... At the same time still. I think I'd rather play Doom 3 or Call of duty 5. Every time I play this game I want to play one of the two. xD!!
