Wolfenstein Rocks!!!!!

Multi-Player- - Great FPS shooter, Awesome Spawn system, great maps, lot's of servers and players, Above par computer system makes for intence graphics and very smooth gameplay, few bugs if any, several tweeks still needed but nothing gamebreaking at all, weapon upgrades, ranks, blood(+) all the goodness

Single player-Awesome, bosses are amazing, FPS with a taste of sorcerey really goes well together, you hardly blink while playing.

This is a postive post by someone who actually plays the game, I see several negative post on this game and i think it's getting a bad rap, played FPS games from the orignal James bond and Quake to COD 4 and Rainbow 6, Wolfenstein is a great game and will have you stuck in combat for hours

You actually think Wolfenstein is a "rip" of COD? I don't see how people can say things like that with a straight face...dnuggs40

The game does play a lot like CoD, and I think that's a good thing. I like the Call of Duty series, but Wolfenstein is just ramped up to a whole new level of awesomeness..

I think the game plays a lot like most new(er) FPS these days...lots of games use the recharge mechanic rather than the med pack one. I don't think that makes other games rip off each other...it's just game-play mechanics in a genre evolving. Wolfenstein brings it's own ideas and flavor to the table...and the end result is pretty unique to itself. Now I am not saying anybody who doesn't like it is wrong...but please at least give the people who made the game credit where it is deserved...the game is not a rip of COD.dnuggs40

Good to see people sticking up for the game, im having a blast playing it, If im not mistaken Dnuggs was on a server i was playing on, game really is allot of fun, Single player and Multi-Player, if you still thinking about buying the game you won't be disappointed.

I did read your second post where you kind of retracted the rip off thing...so that post wasn't really aimed at you. I have seen it posted a lot on these forums though so it was kind of just a statement. In fact, I think my statement really goes for many games on these forums. I see so many get thrashed and called rip-offs and copies it's kind of upsetting. Anyways, it's good to see most are enjoying the game. It's not a breakthrough game...it's probably not going to win any awards...but it's pretty clear the game has a lot of good in it and the developers for the most part did a good job.

I dunno...mark Wolfenstein down for a being a game that is just plain ole' fun.

I'm playing through it now, I'm loving it. I think 7.5 is a little low, I'm leaning towards 8, although I understand that the multiplayer isn't very good... doesn't matter, I bought it for the single player, I pretty much only play TF2 multiplayer now anyway.

Darnit! I want 50 dollars already so I can get it!

Wolfenstein is a series that I love. At this point, I cannot believe anyone. I will have to play the game. Its a little disappointing to know that the game had so much negative reaction. I don't believe most of it, but its still sad.
Having said that, Crysis got a lot of hate, but I loved it. chandu83

Off Topic: Crysis got a lot of hate? Are you kidding me? That game got 9s and editor awards and it was being hyped by everyone. I personally did not find the game entertaining at all.

On Topic: I think Wolfenstein is a worthy successor in the way that it keeps the old feel and combat orientation of the previous games. The multiplayer is.....rubbish though

Are we now going to compare every game with COD4...seriously...sigh. Wolfensteinis good looking game with some good level design, it's not of the level of Crysis/COD4 but how many games are? So who cares if it's similar like COD4 in some aspects,since when is that such a bad thing? Or should we just go hunting for hidden health packs again...get real will yeah. The new generation of gamers are way too anal about issues like graphics, sounds or wether a weapon loosk authentic. Gaming is about having fun,to relax,it's not some anatomy class in which you dissect an animal for Pete's sake and no matter what others say, the ones that I observed playing this game all had a great time.

I will buy it next week.

I hope i will not be dissapointed.

I read there are some mods that improve the crappy multiplayer:
anyone have any experience with those mods ?

The good SP + mod-improved MP could make me buy this game.
