ive been looking at new world at war videos on ign and it looks like cod 4 with ww2 waepons and senariors. Not to say its a bad thing caus cod 4 is great but the games seems like an expansion pack. Havnt played it oviously so im just going by videos.

maybe because its using an updated engine that COD4 used, so there's going to be some similarities with textures and stuff. And don't worry, WaW is not an expansion. Treyarch have had 2 years to develop this game which is alot more than there previous games, and just as long as most games today

All the COD games are very arcade like, being very action packed and intense and COD:WAW will be no different...that's the series strong point. As for the similarities in looks, its running on the COD4 engine which will show some base level similarities such as bloom levels and so on. As for the perks/leveling system this was a great new addition to COD and I see no reason why it shouldn't be in this game and every game from now it, it gives a bigger purpose to multiplier.
