World of Warcraft 2.4.3 patch

I am currently trying to download the patch that is 2gb, and it seems to me it is taking too long to download. Though I am not sure, because I am not familiar with all this stuff. The download says it will take 6-9 hours to download the patch.
Is this normal??

if not, what should I do?

you downloading it from here or with the patcher?

in my experience the WoW patcher is absolute crap, especially if the patch was just released, your probably better off downloading it externally

no i put in the WoW disk (first time player) and it started downloading the patches for it.I think this is the last one.

i have restarted my computer and it didnt help.

When I patched last month, I had the best luck with their last suggestion on that page about downloading from mirror sites.
