World of Warcraft...?

okay, i played and love wow - i dont think too good of AoC but thats not the point as to why i posted this.

I've been reading some AoC threads to give back on what I personally think of them game, and noticed alot of haters. at first i thot it was just becuz the game was so horrible, but when i browsed thru the threads of games i thought were actually pretty damn good there was also alot of haters.

So, this thread (for me) is to see what this community is like. (i'm not judging anyone, or any game, i just want to know)

Not quite sure what you're asking, but Funcom dropped the ball with AoC. My main gripe is a broken and unbalanced PvP system, when the game was kind of designed around the concept of PvP. Add the lack of content at later levels, and no thank you. Back to WoW for me.

WAR comes out in Sept. Of course, there's rumors that it is being rushed to launch too, but I'd rather try that than go get AoC right now. Mythic has a better track record than Funcom

Though MMOs are fun and addictive, I find them pointless and exploitative. The majority of them make you play for countless hours to get the things you want to acheive, whereas non-MMO games give you the same satisfaction of acheiving something in less than half the time usually.

Yes, WoW is one amazing peice of work, but ultimately its social-life destroying, soul suckingly pointless IMO.
