Hi, I have played world of warcraft on and off for 3 years (or so) and I reeeally like the game. But i just have one problem. I can only get to a level 20 and then i get really bored and see other people in stormwind and I like their characters so I go and make a new one! I can't stop myself and I have trouble reaching high levels because of it. Any tips to keep me interested/ leveling tips or something? Anything is appreciated. Thank you a lot! (oh and I only have the burning crusade expansion. And please don't say like "stop playing and get a life" because i do have one and I need something to do in my spare time)

Group up with people and do dungeons, thats the best part of the game! When you get bored of that lvl up your professions!

Plenty to do in that game :)

You made two threads about this already, if you aren't interested in the game why do you keep playing?

I played WoW for about a year and had a level 80 and a couple of 40+ characters. first off if you want a high level character play ONE and only one character at a time. secondly if you get bored with the game just stop playing like me.

I just recently quit, why? Because theres nothing to do besides get better gear or pvp. I dont feel like wasting hours upon days or weeks to get gear. Think about it, u spend like a week to get a good piece of gear. So what? sure your a little better but so is everyone else because its so easy to get. Theres no point. Gear is just being givin out like hot dogs.(?) lol

Now the way I see it, you just plain don't have interest in the game. If you still want to go with World of WarCraft though, I would suggest you get on a server with firends and play with them. Go and do instances, dungeons, cool quests and stuff like that.

Lvl 20 is just a few hours of questing so if you, in 3 years, could not bring yourself to play more than that I think its obvious that the game isnt for you. Getting a toon up to 80 takes hundreds of hours.

I'm done with WOW until WOW2 comes out, granted that'll probably be many years down the road.

My nephew had a similar problem. He would get to level 35 or so and lose all will to keep going. After he had 3 or 4 toons in that level range, he quit for almost a year.

Anyhow, all he was doing was getting to some point where the game was no longer familar to him and quitting because he did not know how to proceed or perhaps it was because he was starting to get off the beaten path. It does not take long to get to 20 - or 40. Or even 60 with the way they have experience boosted now. You just have to pick a class and get on with it.

Oh, my nephew... He eventually returned and leveled up a pally that is currently better geared than any toon I have ever had. What ever that road block at 20 is, you need to move around it or through it.

I highly doubt that they're will ever be a sequel to World of Warcraft...

You should be having fun with the game. Play the character you want, how you want and focus on that. Don't let other people dictate what gear you have get, what skill tree you have to invest in, how you should level up, or how much time you have to play. If you have to consistently force yourself then change how you play and do it in small sessions and make it fun. Don't try to rush to 80 because IMO the journey is definitely more fun than the destination. If you play just to get to the next level then you will eventually get burned out towards the end.

WoW became so easy, everybody can get geared really fast, is not more a challenge, its a child game. I miss the old days of the standard and BC when the game was harder and interesting. Most lich king raids are easy, no big strategies are necessary like for the old raids, its just a gear fight, ppl get geared for ICC in like 1or 2 weeks, players jumping steps and missing the necessary experience, so we got lots of well geared noobs. And what could a say about the PvP in WoW ? Really fail, full imbalanced, if you like PvP avoid WoW. But I know WoW still an awesome game for RP ( beautiful and with nice lore ), but could be better as before, they changed just because blizzard want to get more players ( if the game is easier more ppl to play = more money ).

This is what 90% of WoW players are not aware of.... (exagurated percentage ofc) :P
