WOW is filled with little retards like that kid in those screenshots. Can't believe how stupid he was thinking he could use his moms paypal account to scam that guys WOW password.... I wish he had called the cops or his mom. The kid deserves a beating.

No, he tried to scam the other guy who was selling his character (or account or whatever) but then got caught red handed and the other guy threatened to call his mommy :D

I doubt Pay Pal would force him to complete the transaction, since neither side would be able to prove that anything was being traded, though I don't have any experience with that kind of thing. Hopefully he learned his lesson not to try anything like that again, or else someone will call his mom.

I hope so.

But most of the stuff on Live, Steam, and B.net would be considered to vulgur for tv audiences. :P

They would have to blur, or bleep out most of the words.

If you could get someones phone number from an IP address you'd be having people call you every other day with some creepy voice. Thats why Im glad that everytime I connect I get a randomized IP.

You can't cancel payment on paypal...DarkRecruit

Of course you can.

And when you make a payment with Paypal, all your accounts information is shown. This includes name, address, phone numbers, and all of that.

No you cant, as soon as you pay, the money is gone, it's paypal's, then paypal sends it to the seller.

There's an anti-fraud measure where you can pull back your money. I've sold 2 WoW accounts. I know, it's happened to me before but a simple phone call can took care of that.

Have any links? Even this says you can't cancel it yourself

If you are scammend in Paypal after you sent your payment, you take legal action with Paypal (call them).

I don't need links because I've done it before. You file a claim and you get the money back. You don't call Paypal because they'll tell you to use their flawed dispute system. I'll admit it's not instant but it's possible.

Yea you file the claim, but paypal thoroughly researches it. They call the seller using the seller's contact info and talk to them and other stuff. You don't just say "I want my money back".

To use paypal you need to put in a credit card, so all your billing and phone numbers have to be real to match the info on your credit card. And anyone can see a sellers contact info i think.... or at least I have been able to everytime I buy stuff off ebay.

I guess this helps people from breaking the law... this kid was an idiot. He's lucky the guy didn't go to his house and take care of him with a beating.
