Worst Community?

Other than CoD.

Hands down, dota 2 for me. Played my 3rd game today, and i got yelled at for sucking.

Was told to uninstall the game. Yeah, i suck badly, but really, even when i told him it was my 3rd game he went ape sh!t.

for me nothing beats Heroes of Newerth, and myabe that's because I didn't get into DOTA 2 Beta.noobzoer

Heroes of Newerth and DOTA 2. The communities of those games are the sole reason why I don't play them. I really want to play the more of the DOTA 2 beta, but everyone goes f***ing crazy when I'm not a professional DOTAer.

Left 4 Dead - Love the game but the community is satanic. Whole teams leaving when they can't win, people constantly trolling over mics and in chat, players openly using glitches to cheat like gliding down whole floors, rushers, stacking teams with clan players. biggest_loser

Gotta agree with biggest loser. Especially when it comes to L4D2 and you are playing versus, people shout at you, going OMG Boomer/Smoker/Spitter/Charger/Jockey l2p right!. I mean, I'm playing the game for fun but I'm trying my best as well.

Eh the quake live community can get pretty annoying, but there's only so much you can do when you can only type :P. I don't really care much as long as everyone is trying their best, which is pretty much always the case.

Runescape, and Maplestory. Full of rude, immature people. Don't think I've ever played a game with communities as bad as those; not even World of Warcraft.

Man I play DOTA 2 with good fun and laughs and I win quite a bit to, but I know these ragers your talking about ignore them.

Most MOBA games have some extremely arrogant gamers.

Dota and WoW. I still played both alot, the bad community adds to the lulz.

The Darkfall community is pretty bad. Half the people you kill send you rage tells afterward. People say you zerged when you have just one more guy than they do, or they just rage for no reason than they lost their loots. It's pretty funny most of the time.

from my experience, randoms at L4D2 are harsh with newbs. they'll leave you alone if you cant keep up with them.

I can understand people raging for sucking in DotA 2, it's a beta, and many longtime DotA playerd can't get in while complete noobs who never played DotA before get invited.

As for me, it has gotta be the Greek DotA community on Battlenet. We had our own spambots and dedis on our channels. Well, let's just say everyone appreciated each other's mother's sexual capabilities very much. And they were REALLY vocal about it. Still are, though the community is much smaller.

Maybe Counter-Strike.

The guy kept raging because i wouldnt help him even though he was in a different lane. Iasked him what was the right way to play and he said the ways the pros do. I told him i dont watch the pros and he said i should just quit.We ended up winning because i was the only one able to get into the nexus. it wasnt my best game granted but he freaked out because he was worried about losing and not getting enough kills

In terms of LARGE MASSES of an online community, I would say WoW. Mind you, I haven't played in almost 2 years, I still remember douchebags rising from vanilla raid leaders, to ninjas in GKPs, to arena partners kicking you out of their team for not having 2.2k rating .... sighh..brings back memories...

Starcraft 2, so many death threads whenever someone wins in a ranked match...

World of Warcraft, never seen such selfish **** before

Call of Duty, full of those stupid loud kids screaming your ears off

Any DotA game, so many rage you can heat an air balloon in the skies with it

Also that part of the battlefield community, bf2 specially, who would spend the whole round in the runway for taking jets, or that wud crash or go out of limits for flying solo in the chopper... stain on teamwork

Left 4 Dead 2. I have never seen the human race exhibit such extreme impatience, immaturity, rudeness, selfishness, exclusiveness, meanness, and oh boy I could go on forever so I'll stop now.

But great game, if you can get past the HUGE hurdle that is its players.

This kind of stuff is why I don't like MP. I don't like playing games with strangers because there's no way to know if they're going to be jerks or not, and there's no satisfaction in defeating them when you don't even know who they are. Co-op games seem to have less jerks though.
