[QUOTE="GeneralShowzer"]My most disliked game was Mass Effect 2. Worst was Evil Days : Pound of Ground http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VZygoAp8O0 The horror...kozzy1234
Wow, that looks horrible
Just curious.. what did you dislike about ME2?
Well...It was a game with ...minimal effort.
There was no effort in the graphical department. There were many games that tried so hard to look good, Mass Effect 2 was just a mess of ugly textures.
It gimped everything down from the predecessor, the environments are small and tight, there wasn't even a main storyline.
I mean you do party character personal quests in every Bioware game. Where were the main quests? I also didn't like that it was built like a TPS.
*Shooting Stages* were always separated from the *Non shooting stages*
For example in ME, the cidatel was a huge place with traders, NPC's, quests, encounters, you could start a fight there, and it spread across the streets.
Here everything was separated by a loading screen. You were transported to a linear corridor, with lots of crates stacked up and the only way forward is to kill everything.
And then you get a fixed number of experience and rewards, like many TPS do. No looting.
And no game-play variety.
No trading, no stealth mechanics, no different approach to things...
Only two paths to choose from, even marked on for you red/blue.
The game also rewards playing black or white, with the paragon/regenerade points. You are locked out from dialogue options unless you play black or white.
I don't know...Is this really the game many critics awarded a 10/10 and has a 96 on metacritic.
If all you need to get a 10/10 game is some flashy cinematics and some talking, then why did Obsidian bother to create what they did in New Vegas? :o
