If i can not play it on high settings I just played the demo and it seems pretty good playing wise, and the graphics seem okay. I am just wondering if the content will outweigh the fact that I can not see it in all of its glory. Just share your thoughts on the game please.

Tbh i dont think the game is that special, demo ran pretty poorly on my old athlon x2 cpu with same graphics cards as i have now.

I'd rather play Left 4 Dead, runs great and looks good.

buy crysis warhead instead. it's better optimized than the first, so it will run faster on your system.

I played Crysis with my cheap card at medium settings and i dont feel like i missed out on anything :/. The game is pretty fun, the missions are varied enough that it doesnt get repetitive and idk about the rest but i found a lot of replay value since i always wanted to get from point A to point B in a different way each play through.

NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT (GeForce 9600 GT) with 512MB

and my processing:

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+

I know my processing sucks but it is an old computer that I updated here and there. I pass it on Can you Run it?.. but from your guys' comments it seems like it is worth getting =D

EDIT: I was planning on requesting it off Goozex so it won't cost me anything really.

Personally I would recommend buying Crysis and Warhead. I don't think you should miss out on them.

Are the stories easy to get engrossed in?

Well, that is very subjective isn't it? But from what I have seen so far, yes, it is engrossing if you pay attention to it. It's not in the same standards as Deus Ex in terms of story, but not a lot of games are. I think if you enjoy FPS, you should not miss these.
