Yea most reviewers wait till they get to 80 and have explored all the land. Then they review so i guess it depends on how long the reviewer reaches 80.

I could never understand why it takes reviewers so long to reach level 80. They get PAID to play games, and 10 levels isn't much. Are they that bad at the game?

Suprisingly them reviewing Wotlk isn't just about hitting 80 and reviewing content. They must analyse every single piece of content PRIOR to hitting level 80. Basically, they need to perform several instance runs whenever their level permits them, to judge whether its fun and if the loot is good. To be fair, those are the 2 driving points of MMOs - fun and loot. Chances are when they hit, say, level 76, they will halt for a while and check out the content available to them from there. That can takes weeks, especially if its an individual doing it, not a whole group. It's the only way to make a balanced judgement of a colossal game.

Or is it that they have other duties other than that one game?
