Wotlk worth getting?

I quit wow a couple of months before wotlk came out mainly because of class imbalances, lame ass pvp,and s4.

Is there anything worth coming back to? or is it BC with snow?

wotlk is worse then bc by far but the new pstches make it better. classes in pv p are still way imbalanced. but im a ret pally and warlock o no complaints from me.ag3ntz3rox0x

You have no clue what you're talking about. Wotlk as an expansion is way more polished than BC (new class, bigger zones, achievements, controllable vehicles/siege engines, world pvp zone in WG).

Now to answer the topic, Wotlk is definitely worth getting, but class imbalance still exists, and PVE content is a joke since Blizzard decides to hold the casuals' hands and spoon-feed them epic loots.

Basically, Wotlk is BC but even easier, you could solo the raids there with a hunter...The only reason you'd be attracted back to the game is for the new classes and gear, and the issue is that Blizzard have officially murdered half their design department and every piece of gear looks identical. Imagine the season 4 gear but worse, its cloth gear recoloured for all the cloth wearing classes and its the same issue with leather, mail and plate.

Whilst Blizzard cater for the kiddy fanboys with all the glitter and pretty effects, the down to earth and hardcore gamers get nothing for their money. It's essentially more of the same, but less...if you know what I mean.

The reason Blizzard makes gear look identical is because they've received a lot of complaints during BC that the gear makes characters look like walking modern art in the sense that they dont match in colour or looks.

Not worth getting at all. If you played BC you played WOTLK in theory. Just different scenery, same grind.Dr_Brocoli

if you have addiction issues dont coem back to it. IMO WOTLK is one of the best invetments I have ever gotten for my gaming dollar.

The quest IMO are wayy better than BC content. let me put it this way (spoilers)after wraith gate its questionable weither the forsaken are still with the horde.

I enjoyed WOTLK. Got 2 characters to 80 and raided for awhile. Saw all of the content and got bored. I'll probably come back in a couple months when some content patches are released.
