WOULD GOING FROM AN AMD X2 6400+ to AMD X4 9950 BE MAKE MUCH DIFFERENCE?

Would upgrading my CPU (see sig below) to an AMD 9950 X4 Phenom black edition make much of a difference? (That is the fastest CPU my motherboard bios recognizes according to the ASUS website and does not support the new Phenom II's) Or should I wait and buy a new motherboard and CPU a little bit later? Thanks.

I'd wait if you are just playing games, sure you will get an improvement but is it worth the price difference? I really don't think it is, if you are just playing games. Invest in a graphics card :DJigglyWiggly_

no it wont ur 6400 2 cores are clocked higher then the 9950 so in most games it wont help but in overall computing the 2 extra cores help but the phenom 1 processers sucks
