Good evening gentlemen, while many of you have taken to the streets in protest to MS not releasing big Al - similar to the bread riots of Russia - I would like to ask the remainding people whether I would like Dead Space or not.
I have heard a lot of good things about this game. It is only selling for a mere $49 rubles here as well.
Would I like this game?
I have heard it is quite repetitive. Is this true? I dont think we want to go through that FEAR tomfoolery again. I am still receiving dangerous looking letters from the review I wrote of that. Though I suspect this could have more to do with my tax infridgements ahem.
I have also heard from a gentlemen on Xfire that after you finish the game you unlock a special suit which is actually a pinstripe suit which can then be worn to the main characters formal party following the dramatic conclusion of the game!! I would like to know more about this suit and whether you can customise it, so you can wear a pink shirt if you like!!
Also, how scary is the game on the boogey man metre: Many of you may remember the time that I made a thread asking about how scary Oblivion was for a uhh friend of mine ahem yes lol. I get scared very easily, by games and people sending me mean emails on GS, so I'd like to know!!
Finally: is it true that Alan Wake was not so much inspired by Twin Peaks, but by the song Wake Up by Hilary Duff...She is actually a gamer y'know? Bogs himself will tell you from experience that she played a strong role in The Sims 2: Pets!!
Just listen to the lyrics: "I know I make mistakes, I'm living life day to day, It's never really easy but it's ok, Wake Up Wake Up, On a Saturday night"
She expresses the same guilt as the character Alan Wake, finding it difficult to get up in the morning. The Saturday night reference may also be a reflection of the games episodic nature and day/night cycle!! Think about it!!
Coincidence?! I think not!!
