Im gettin a geforce 8600gts overclocked in my new pc. Would it say like run supreme commander on high graphics?

What res? 1440x900 and lower yes but any higher you need a better card

like the person above me said it depends on your resolution also it is a pretty demanding game so you'll also want 2gigs of ram and a good dual core to also run it on high

Hi

Maybe. I have an 8800GTX factory settings and I play at 1280x1024 at highest settings. It works good on that game. If there is a big battle on a big map then it can lag but it runs fine.

Supreme Commander also depends a lot on the processor because of the massive amounts of units that are being controlled. That card should work as long as you have a good enough processor.

supreme commander utilize the cpu to its full power, its built for dual and quad processors,which meanssingle core processors bottleneck it like hell, although pentium 4's make some use out of the hyperthreading.
