I would be mildly interested because I have not played through a Halo game in its entirety and would like to see what the fuss is about!
Who else would be interested in it?! Raise your hand!

Not very likely, I liked Halo 1, disliked Hlo 2 alot, so unles Reach could convince me, then It would not be a buy for me, and from what Ive seen so far, I would say no.
I'm buying it for my 360 for the coop/singleplayer since I am really bad with console controllers. If it came out for the PC I would definitely consider grabbing it. Its likely that even if the rumor is true it will be at least 6 months down the line so that MS can use it to drive hardware sales.
I can say with all honestly I couldn't care less if we see another Halo on the PC. I wasn't particularly impressed with either Halo 1 or 2 (never even finished 2 it got so boring). This is the thing that really annoys me about stuff like "Halo Reach coming to the PC possibly" I am a PC gamer I want to play PC games. If I wanted to play a console game like Halo Reach then I would go and buy myself a console.

PC shooters these days have not been delivering though; looking at MW2 and even bad company 2. Reach at least comes with a supposed map editor/maker, if it had server support it could be quite the game.
I wouldn't call MW 2 a "PC shooter" I can't comment on Bad Company 2 because I am soo sick and tired of "modern warfare" FPS games it isn't even funny so I never bothered with BC 2. I want more games like Stalker on the PC that is what I would class as a proper PC shooter, something that goes beyond "bang bang you are dead repeat ad infinitum".
I'd play it if it came to PC, but I'm pretty sure it's not. There was some dev from the team that did the first 2 PC ports teasing about it, but he went from teasing to crock of **** when I last read that thread. So I don't really believe any of it anymore

I was speaking MP shooter wise
honestly, I don't understand this sorta mentality. It's not as if it's mutually-exclusive in that we are either having "PC Games" or console ports. FYI, we can have both and we've been having both. Honestly I'll take my chances and say lets get Halo Reach on the PC and then decide whether its good or bad. Besides, console game or not, competition in an FPS is so much more intense within the PC community because of the superior controls. I'm actually stoked to see the newer Halos played in a mouse/keyboard combo.I can say with all honestly I couldn't care less if we see another Halo on the PC. Because I'm so used to playing it on the Xbox remote. A keyboard and mouse is just gonna feel... weird.
Not really. Halo is basically "baby's first FPS." It's really basic and mediocre and there are much better shooters on the PC.

you know it was supposed to be a pc game until microsoft bought it up right? I really cant think of a good reason for it to best on xbox, other than maybe friends on xbox live.Yes, if a solid effort were behind a PC version of Reach I'd be interested in playing it. I actually enjoyed Halo 1 on the PC. It doesn't measure up to my favorite shooters on the PC but it was fun and a more than adequate game.
Picked up Halo 2 at a bargain price quite a while ago, but have yet to play it. By the time it was released on the PC, it felt a little "stale" and appeared the conversion effort was as well --- for the length of delay in appearance on the PC, you'd at least hope for more visual improvements on a game from the original xbox for example. That and the lack of COOP (again) probably sealed not caring enough to bother with Halo 2 thus far.
If they bothered to do a proper PC port/conversion that felt like a PC FPS, then hell yes. Firstly, the Halo series has never been particularly bad. It's just been exceptional at being average (which is sometimes a good thing). Secondly, Halo ODST (and I assume Reach) added a nice story and made Halo fun to play again. But if they're going to do it half assed for money then don;t bother - see Halo 2 for PC. It was ****.
Edit: What I was trying to say was that the Halo series did get better, but it's major drawback for me was that it was getting better on the 360. I've always felt that with proper attention it could have been a great PC series.
