Are people still playing this game online? And also, how does F.E.A.R. hold up graphically now? Is it worth getting the complete collection?

Not sure if people still play BF2, havn't fired it up in some time, but it usually takes a while for a large community to die off so I'd guess you wouldn't have trouble finding matches. As far as F.E.A.R. goes graphically, it's not that pretty, probably aged worse than just about any FPS I can think of, but it's still a great game to play.

Battlefield 2 is extremely popular. I can log on now, and pick up 2000+ servers, usually during the day 800 of them are populated with decent to substantial crowds. Trust me alot of people play BF2, especially considering most people prefer BF2 to BF2142, that and BF2 requires alot of invested time. I've had the game for 2 years, and on my first account I'm only at a score of 20,000 (took me FOREVER). The account I started 2 months ago is already to 8000 after hours upon hours of hardcore playing.

BF2 is still a hilariously popular game online. I always get a kick out of an idiot pilot randomly crashing into some trees or the ground in the middle of a ground forces battle, or how it's the honorable thing for attack helicopter pilots to completely ignore their real duties of assisting ground forces and going after the enemies attack chopper in a duel to the death like samurai. Haha I love it. GOOD TIMES!

But yeah, just because a game is a couple or more years of age doesn't mean the online community is dead. You'd be amazed how many people still play Call of Duty 1 and still mod the hell out of it.

As for FEAR, I love the game ALOT. The game does look a bit old in the way it implements many of it's graphical techniques, reminding some people of Doom 3 possibly but the game is still a fun blast, and I think it still looks great if you can run full specs, not to mention I love the story, the creepiness of it, and man oh man I love FEAR. Fun online too.

BF2 is extremely fun. Every saturday, the military unit I'm in, will get on and we'll get into squads and it'll literllay take us hours to beat one map. We play with real life tactics and such. it's quite different from what you play in a server just populated with random people. What's even awesome is that I live in Canada and the unit I'm in have some modders for the game and made a mod just for us. Instead of using the M16 we'll use the C7 (Canadian version of M16), Instead of the M249 SAW we'll use the C9 LMG and all other weapons will get their Canadian version.

As for FEAR, all I have to say it'sa great game on the first play through.
