No, I'd like to see more PC exclusives.thusaha
Yeah, I'd like to have more PC exclusive games, and not cross-platform. Cross-platform = console>PC to me. :(
Not in the least.
I am very much opposed to the idea of ports and multiplatforming. Porting/multiplatforming between consoles is fine, because they offer the same type of gameplay, but it doesn't work on the PC. One platform offers games meant to be played in the living room, much of the time with friends, while thePC is meant to be played alone (alone as in company-wise). It's less casual.
I'd like to try Mass Effect as I'm an oldschool BioWare fan, but I would have liked to see Mass Effect developed for the PC rather than the 360 (considering it's the PC that made their companya success in the first place). If it ports I'd look at it, but I'm not expecting it to feel like a PC game.
Now that I have a 360 it doesn't really matter to me all that much but I'm still a PC man first and I would prefer if games are going to be made for consoles and PCs that they should be made for the PC and THEN ported to the consoles. That way we can get some real optimization options instead of the cruddy ports we get nowadays.
More Ports would be fine, so long as their not rushed - which they probably will be.
So in principal, sure. In practice, not so good.
Yes i would definetely love to see some ports from x360 especially of the sports genre. This year i was dissapointed with two games FIFA 08 and Tiger Woods 08.FIFA 08 looked nothing different from FIFA 07 except some tricks and tactics while tiger woods is utter waste on PC compared to the x360 one.....
I'm not really bothered for ports, but I wish developers would spend more time with PC versions of multiplat titles, or not give the console priority. Like Assassin's Creed, for example. Or GTA4.
As far as pure ports go, I'm not bothered. There aren't really any games on the 360 I particularly want. That said, though, It would be neat to get the live arcade games on windows live (if they aren't already) somehow. There's some real classics in there - stuff like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
