Would you switch to a MAC if developers supported them more, all games were available, and you could upgrade the parts like a pc? I would, am sick of Windows, but it is the only viable option for a gamer right now.

Windows works great for me, so No.
For the sake of no virus risk, IF absolutely all games will be made avalaible on the MAC I'll probably go for it.

If, as the original post has stated, Macs were widespread they would fall under the same virus risks. There are viruses for the mac system. The problem is that they are such a low percentage that it's not practical for someone to code a virus for them. They are no more secure in the long run. They may not have as many security holes but nothing is perfect.
Win7 is amazing. I love it and since Microsoft is pretty much treating Vista like ME and just moving on to Win7, I'd have no reason to go with OS X. I dislike that OS anyway.
You could do what I do and get a MAC, dual boot it with Vista (and Win7 soon), keep all your important data on separate external HDDs (one each for Win and Mac)and have everything available to you.
Maybe if you gave me a good reason why. I don't think that all the Windows bashing or Mac praise is really justified. Windows 7 should fix a lot of the issues people have with Vista.
I use my computer for gaming and pr0n. I could care less what OS im using and since it's currently Windows, no.
No. The mac operating system design is terrible. Vista is far more appealing to the eyes.
Secondly Viruses are never a problem with windows if you know how to avoid them and how to get rid of them.
Hmm I would consider it... just because I'm actually going into film. And gaming is pretty much why I am still with Windows. Then again I could easily get both so...
Vista is not bad overall, but it is causing me alot of problems and crashes ironically. Though alot of people I know don't experience a single problem. I still favor PC more, not the software. I would still stay with PC though and wait for windows 7 or something. PC has never failed on me.

Cool. Complicated, but cool.
BTT, I wouldn't. I like Vista.
I am actually a former Mac user, and tell you the truth, its the whole 'no virus' thing is just because not many people use them. Also, I find it alot easier to do things on Vista, even though i used macs for 5 years before i got my PC. Only thing i really liked about macs were the fact that i could use .avi in quicktime ,Adium (instant messanger), Garageband, and the way applications functioned, but besides that it felt very limited. It is good for movies, though, and photography, but besides that, you are better keeping your PC.
