Never had a Sparkle card before, but I traded a guy my HD 4870 X2 for his Sparkle OC GTX 460 1GB and it works wonders, OCs to speeds faster than a GTX 470.

Disregard that. Every card manufacturer has cards that fail. In all likelihood yours won't.

id be hesitant.. im no fan of palit cards.. this one time i was in one of my local pc hardware stores and a dude was asking to look at a palit 9800gt out of the boxing the dude opened the box and took it out of the bag and parts started coming off of it hahaha

whats worse is im not the only person with such stories.

so gtx 460 great.. gtx 460 pre oc'd for cheap super!

its a palit gtx 460.. eehhh not so much.

2 years happy with my Palit hd4850 interesting design keeps the gpu very very cool when the other hd4850's at the time were reaching high temps (60-80C). Sadly the fan has become very noisy over the years but luckily i can stand it :)
