Wow, crysis looks pretty poor on a low resolution monitor

I ordered a new full hd monitor, which should be coming in tomorrow

by chance, my copy of crysis (which i ordered at the same time) came in today. I have almost everything maxed out, and all i can say is wow....on 1024x768 resolution, everything looks rather crappy. i can tell that everything is supposed to look really nice (and up close everything does) but my monitor just doesn't have the resolution to show off all that detail, so in tern it makes things look a bit jaggied (AA helps, but not totally)

clearly this game was made with high resolutions in mind. hopefully my new monitor will make this game look all nice and pretty :D

I ran it at 1024x768 too, without AA (not because of my monitor, it supports up to 2048x1536 but due to my graphics card) and I thought it looked amazing. :| Maybe I just have higher tolerance of jaggies. :P

I actually prefer resolution over higher graphics settings. Going from 1024x768 to 1920x1200 was quite amazing. 22" isn't quite as good, but 1680x1050 is still quite impress for Crysis.

Isn't quite as good as 1920x1200 since 22" only goes up to 1680x1050. Some do 1920x1080 though, depends on how much you spend.

alot but if you run crysis on 1920x1200 without lag on the highest settings....
