Will you be acquiring Crysis: Warhead from your local merchant?

Eh...im not so excited. Did you read about it? only 2 new weapons and vehicles[LAME] and only 9 hours of new content[Mega LAME]TA127

Well what do you expect? It's not a full blown sequel, just a story from Psycho's side. That's not lame since it's been less than a year since Crysis was released, so this 'expansion pack' is quite decent. And why complain about the weapons when you can customize one gun to the extreme?

9 hours of content? So what? Portal was only 5 hours long but that didn't stop it from being so good, and one of the best games last year.

It will be because its an expansion and will probably be half the price of vanilla crysis - at least here in Australia.

I've heared people complaining about games with 20 hours of content...so yes, 9 is pretty lame.

And i dont care that it's an expansion that took 1 year to make...2 weapons?!come on!(and one of them is a dual sub-machine-gun...how original :x )

what on earth? it's not just 2 weapons you know. you do realize that, don't you? there's a whole game that you're not even considering. do you even know what an expansion is? most expansions take about a year to make. most expansions (for fps) are about 5 hours long. most expansions only add 1 or 2 weapons. this, by all indication, is an EXCELLENT expansion - it has the standard 1 or 2 new weapons, it has 4 more hours than other fps expansions, and it improves performance and graphics. what more do you want? what the **** are you complaining about? :?

if this is an expansion, is it 30-40 dollars like an expansion?

if so great, if not ill probably get it, but ill be dissappointed.

I really like crysis, but never touched the MP, so it wasn't the greatest game. I have played COD 4 like 100 times more than crysis, but whatever.

Yeah, buts it only 30 dollars, its not like they are charging full price for it so I don't see why you are all whiny about it, I plan on picking the game up, but I'm not jumping up and down for it as well.

lol, where did you hear there were ONLY going to be 2 new weapons and vehicles? I think I even read an article that there was more to come but they want to save it. We still have a lot of time till realese

Does it matter if it takes part on a different island or as a different character? You switch charaters/locations in CoD4, but they didn't make a special expansion just for that.

All you have is the word of the developer that it started at a different time (which wouldn't be a lie since they could have been working on the 9hours after they finished the previous 9hours...) I believe it's the same people who said that crysis would run on a 8800GTS 320mb very high settings... so their word doesn't carry much.

You may trust Crytek, but the way I see it is that EA is trying to sell me 9hours (for a full price game) gameplay when I could easily find 9hours of gameplay via the internet and player made maps/mods. Not to mention I'm still pissed about the crappy support that Crytek has. 2 patches... still haven't fixed major AI issues that ruin the game when you run into them.

You can't use Call of Duty 4, a 5 hour game, to prove that EA is nickel and diming us. Not all games jump perspectives. As a matter of fact, very few games do. It doesn't work for most games' narratives, and there is absolutely no evidence that EA forced Crytek to cut out HALF of the game to sell it later. Come to think of it, that seems like a pretty stupid idea. Why were neither of the (demonstrated) weapons, nor either of the (demonstrated) vehicles EVER seen or mentioned until now?

I may pick it up but either way, 9 is long enough for me, heck, even the short 5 hour campaign from CoD4 is good enough for me because it's just a amazingly brilliant campaign IMO and if games have the edge of your seat campaign from start to finish and is only 5-6 hours long, it's good enough for me. I can see why people want longer games but to me, I find that most games that are 16+ hours long (except for RPGss since they are suppose to be 30+ hours long) start becoming a chore and it really feels like it's just dragging on at that moment.

On another note, I'm so back logged with my games that short is really good, lol. A lot good and awesome games but just not enough time sadly.
