i was just wondering is the merciless gladiator pvp gear better than the tier 4 raiding gear corruption raiment?

It has way more stam and int but it lacks in spell hit and spell critical strike

I have the merciless gladiator set, plus some other pvp reward epics...my spell damage is almost 800 with my own buffs, i have 12.5lk hp and like 10000 intellect.

Is the gear good enough to skip kara and go for the tier 5 gear?....or do i need higher spell damage than 800, spell hit and cspell critical strike?

someone told me that pvp isn't suited for raiding....but all the gear ive seen so far in kara has kinda been inferior to the gear i already have...except for like i said spell hit, crit etc.

So i guess my question is..what should spell hit, spell crit and spell damage be for tier 5 raiding? ( roughly) Thanks :)

First thing's first, I wouldn't get into raiding right now since the expansion is so close (only a month away).

But as for the raiding set, I'd say the frozen shadoweave set it a good start along with a few karazhan and badge pieces. Your spell damage will differ from talent specs but for affliction you will want over 1000 shadow damage, and for destruction probably about the same, maybe a little less. Get the frozen shadoweave shoulders, boots and robe, gloves from attumen in karazhan, a couple of badge pieces and you can probably get away with a couple of PvP pieces too.

Gems are important too. I have seen loads of druids on my realm with worse stats than mines, but with slightly better gear. Just because they don't understand how to socket and enchant their gear.

Forgot to mention, spell hit is essential for a warlock, destruction or affliction. Crit isn't so good for affliction obviously, but its one of the more essential stats for destruction. Check wowwiki.com for the hit cap. You want to get your spell hit capped first. As for PvE, I wouldn't bother with that much HP to be honest, a warlock generally has quite high HP, but keep it at a decent amount, which would be 9000 or more.

This. If Burning Crusade is any indication, the gear you get from questing in Northrend will be better than your raid gear from Outlands. No point in raiding in BC right now unless you've already been raiding. If you're just now getting to 70 or whatever, I wouldn't even bother. I'd rather do BG's and just rack up honor to go towards whatever level 80 PvP gear they are going to have.
