other specs:
QX9650nForce 780iOCP

Awesome. I think that actually might be slightly faster then my two HD3870's in Crossfire :okarasill
Have they mentioned a price yet?

Rurmor is between $370-$400 so if it's true then it'll be cheaper then even getting two 3870's in Crossfire.[QUOTE="daytona_178"][QUOTE="karasill"]Awesome. I think that actually might be slightly faster then my two HD3870's in Crossfire :okarasill

?
An 8800 ULTRA installed in a similar rig gets around 9000.
This is also at a resolution of 2560x1600, so anything near 10000 would translate into playable frame rates (bar Crysis, which still needs a lot of work).
CPU clocked @ 3.6Ghz...
We have no clue if the GPU is overclocked aswell.

$700 isnt worth it. I know the performance upgrade will be somewhere along the line of 40%- 50% which is good compared to the 8800GT but $700 can kiss my hard drive.[QUOTE="whoody12"][QUOTE="opethpwn"][QUOTE="yoyo462001"][QUOTE="karasill"][QUOTE="daytona_178"][QUOTE="karasill"]Awesome. Tbh, I'm really hoping ATi will give Nvidia a real good caining with this new 3870X2...and all the signs so far indicate that it will.
