WoW: I'm a human mage, how do i defeat rogues in pvp?

I keep getting defeated by the rogues when they use their invisibility technique. what tactics can i use to defeat them?? btw im lvl 21 and i have the blink technique

Use frost nova or arcane explosion as soon as they vanish then.

but they vanish the moment the battle begins!!!! and they usually keep their distance b4 they vanish

Ok are you talking about a duel then? If they vanish when the fight begins they are wasting a cooldown. When they are stealthed there isn't much you can do other than trying to find them. If he stuns you just blink straight away and if you're fast enough you might not be crippled by poison.

Iceblock, blink, ice lance, ice lance, ice lance....ice lance. You see where I'm going with this? Once they blow sprint and move in close, frost nova and do the same damn thing. Your pet helps too. Don't forget the grunt trinket.MythPro1

If it's a subtlety rogue, you're pretty much screwed unless you're good at frost pvp.

I've never played a mage so I don't know all of his spells, but I've mostly played a rogue so I know how things work :P

Most important thing when fighting a sub rogue is - do NOT blink before he shadowsteps,because if you do, you'll be stuned for 6sec and that's pretty much all the rogue needs.However that might prove to be difficult since good rogues know that aswell.

If you're not frost, you'll only be able to beat noob rogues.

aaahhhh the mage really is very unbalanced during low levels. I was almost gonna quit being a mage because i thought the mage must be the weakest class but im so happy to know that things get evened up in the end

I would start off with rank1 frostbolt get the slow effect up on the target then switch up to higher rank spell. Melee classes are the easiest class defeat as mage, you should always kite them. When they get close frostnova, blink, cone of cold get away to continue kiting the person and ice block when everything else is on cooldown. The mage class really doesn't start to pick up till 30+ so don't worry you will get more powerful.

No one can tell you how to defeat a rogue. Its all about the situation, enviroment and so on.

Just duel over and over and over again. Untill you start to learn what they do and how they do it. You could even throw in some random things like mount up and so on :P
