WoW on iPad anyone?

ok before anyone bashes about the iPad, let me just say this: I do not think it is a great product. i believe it is a rip-off and the reason for this recssion (please don't take that seriously :P), but my father insists on buying one since he is a Mac-aholic. So now i get back to the topic. Since i am going to have some time with an iPad, does anyone know if i can play WoW on it? i mean if it is possible, i could just download the clients via wow.com, but im not sure if it is possible :/ anyone know?

No it isn't. The iPad only lets you install programs via the app store. It's a very closed platform.

No it isn't possible. Even if you somehow managed to port it I seriously doubt the hardware would be able to run it at all.

the ipad is a seriously underpowered device for the price. Its actually a giant iphone/ipod touch. can you play wow on a single core 1 ghz processor? just get a laptop for around the same price, and it will play wow. Try to go with something that has either nvidia or ati graphics, even embedded will do.

I'm gonna be angry if IPad makes it more than a few years. I looked into that device and I haven't seen a bigger rip-off in quite some time. Like someone else said, yes, it literally is a giant-sized Ipod. And I even thought everything could be had for $500 since you can buy okay laptops for $300. Apparently, you need to spend $700+ just for a 32GB HDD and Wi-FI. I feel sorry for the suckers buying this one. You can buy modern gaming quality laptops at a Best Buy for almost $800.

I wish it could run games like WoW, for now it remains a load of crap.

Does anyone still play WoW with Runes of Magic being F2P and just as good ?? But with that being said Why would you want to play a MMO that grand on a 10" screen ??? and with a CPU that hasno power/speed you will be always lagging.

No as in you disagree or No in most players have jumped ship like WoW did to Everquest ??? I cancelled my WoW acount soon after RoM came out so i really don't know.

There is a video of some guy Streaming the game to his Ipad, that's the best you'd be able to do.

The iWoW pad already came out.

It fits snugly in your parents basement, works only in very low light, and is powered by fried chicken and Mt. Dew.

It is however, not very girl-friendly. Well not RL girl, but there are some G.I.R.L. (Guy In Real Life) you can meet on it, who play female paladins.
