What do you recommend more wow or aion

Aion. But its longevity is going to be critical for the next few months as it builds numbers. A majority of the people who are playing the NTSC release left WoW for it. I am fully expecting the scrips to plummet when CAT comes out and people migrate back to WoW.
I'd go for Aion, though I haven't had the chance to buy it and try it out yet. Several friends of mine already have it and said they'll play it over WoW any day. A lot of friends also said most people who hate WoW (myself as an example) will probably love Aion. Go figure? Lol.
tough question
If you hated WoW... you might like Aion. If you liked WoW... you might not like Aion.
So far my experience has been grind grind grind for everything. I'm sticking it out until I can get into Abyss but so far it has been MEH.

Haven't had to grind at all yet but only lvl 12. There's plenty of quest xp to be gotten so far. But I'm happy to play Aion for hours on end, something I could never do on WOW.
No, thats not trueI've heard that Aion doesn't come with a month out of box, is this true? I myself am debating if I should go back to WoW or switch to Aion.

[QUOTE="Grodus5"]No, thats not true So you do get a "free" month out of the box? Ok, I heard some people complaining over on Gamefaq's forums they couldn't get game cards because they were sold out.I've heard that Aion doesn't come with a month out of box, is this true? Details here https://secure.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/Store.pl?dnv=7110459631&action=viewItem&item_id=145I played WoW a long time, which is why I prefer Aion. WoW just got old, but if it's new you might enjoy it just as much as Aion. To be honest, as far as levleing and questing goes, they seem pretty similar. I have a lvl 16 Templar, and so far I havn't had to grind out any xp, I have always had a couplequests in my log.
Well I've played AION a couple times and for what i saw is pretty much based on WoW (not the history but the design), even the hero looks like Arthas but if u want to try something new and when i say new i refer to old stuff like WoW or RuneScape..well u might want to give a try to AION. I already got bored of WoW so i'm trying new games. 8)
i quit WoW months ago, and am playing Aion now, but I'm always thinking about going back to WoW because I miss my old friends there. lot of memories. lot of awesome quests, lot of late nights getting drunk and ganking allies. lots of good times. can't ever be replaced by Aion.
i haven't gotten to the meat and potatoes of aion, but there are certain things i like better about each game in their own ways.
i dunno tho, they are both the same fees to play monthly. there's a larger community in WoW, and it is structured better, more variety in characters and racial abilities, but Aion has better grafs, better music, and a different feel that makes you tell the game has lots of potential.
tuff call....i enjoy them both...i would honestly just try the trial for WoW, and one for Aion if it exists and decide yourself.
I never thought I'd see the day... And anyways, I'd recommend Aion. It's brand spanking new and if you take part now, you'll take a greater part of the game's community in the long-run. As opposed to WoW, where you'll pretty much be a nobody until the end of the game's lifespan.Aion.
-Unreal-
No it does come with a month of play time. You do have to setup billing info for recurring payment, but you can easily cancel that.I've heard that Aion doesn't come with a month out of box, is this true? I myself am debating if I should go back to WoW or switch to Aion.

Aion = PvP. WoW = PvE. It's up to your preference.
Esoteric
It really boils down to that. Aion is not Alt-friendly, It is openly stated in-game and no one argues the point...unless you ENJOY going through the exact same content with several characters or want to grind out 25 levels.

there so little grinding in Aion i dont know why people keep mentioning it.... seriously find a new reason to bash the game because what you are saying is COMPLETELY FALSE.

Isn't it closer to 5 million anyways? Yep because Chinese servers are down. :P I remember reading something that there are one-hundred-million online gamers in China. That's why Korean MMO developers make all of their games based off China's history, culture, and mythology, instead of their own. What do you recommend more wow or aion

I played them both,in China.
Blizzard do not allow cheating~But Aion have Tons of Cheating, and Aion is no game for light player. Not enough conment to explain how the controll works. And you easily get tire of it.
In China they r free to download but pay to play.So I suggest you to try them both. But if you have to pay to buy a original intallation then buy WOW.

ugh... this guy is retarded... NCsoft removed the anti-cheat software because people **** SO MUCH ABOUT IT, and now that it is gone, people complain that there is no anti cheat software. you just cant please anyone.I like my MMO's to be non-linear, Aion isnt bad, it reminds me of phantasy star online but with a more "fantasy" theme to it. But, it's linear, I can't do that, I've been spoiled from non-linear games like WOW. In wow, there really are no boundries but big mountains that get in your way every now and then, but, you can run through different zones seemlesly, there are no boundries, Aion has invisible walls where it looks like you should go, it is very Guild Wars....lol please, there is no comparison. Wow's market and crafting destroys aion. Pvp is way better in WoW, quest or better, raids are better, instances are better play mechanics are better, coding is better, the only good graphics are on characters, I have everything maxed with insane resolution, trees are horrid, landscape upclose is horrid, kinda like Warhammer online. People knock WoW's cartoon graphics, to me, I think they're still the best for an MMO. Northrend is beautiful, and only character models are better in Aion in my opinion. So if you want debth, longevity, and great profession/crafting skills, real group team play....go with WoW, these two games shouldn't even be compared, as Guild Wars shouldn't against WoW.
P.s I still can't wait for The Old Republic though....:)
