Wow Quake4 + Mod = Awesome!

the joy of mods.... The game looks increadible at 1920X1080 4XAA with graphical mod. 80FPS. Pretty cool game too.

Yeah its pretty cool. I can only go up to 1920x1080p on my monitor but it would be NICE to see what it looks like at higher res.

quake 4 used the doom 3 engine very nicely, very gritty feel and nice texture res, Probably the best used of the engine so far imo. Character models especially are nicely done.nutcrackr

How do you install the mod? I extracted the parallax_extreme_q4 folder to my Quake 4 root directory and selected the prallax mod from the mod menu in quake 4. But when I when to start a game, Everything was black, looked like no textures.

The question is how many people are playing? I quit playing along time ago due to the low population. It would be nice to see people start back playing. I'd be especially interested in seeing a RA4 udate.deboFOOL

i put the pk4 file in the main folder and extracted the contents of the file in the Q4base folder.

That seems to do the same thing. Strange. Does it not work with ATI cards? I have a x1950 pro.
