I'd go with AoC. WoW is just boring to me now. I have a lvl 65 and thats all I can go. I know the game really takes off in 5 levels but I cannot get to it.

After playing AoC and seeing how great the combat is, I don't think I'll ever step into WoW again....

Personal opinions aside, go for WoW. From what I've read AoC still needs a lot of work, but WoW is long past the point where it is complete and generally working.

Once AoC has a dew more months under it's belt, switch on over.

Might as well go with AoC now if you are just going to switch over to it after it gets a little more polish to it. I can't speak for everyone but I know that despite its incompleteness I still found more then enough content to get myself hooked in a big way. The more realistic, gritty feel was also just much more appealing to me then WoW's cartoon-like look.

AoC for the combat and pvp.

WoW for pve.

My personal preference is AoC.

I reccomend Wow, AOC has some updating to do. Try the WoW trail, see if you like it. I couldn't be bothered leveling anymore in Wow. After 2 months of playing I only reach like 41 and it was extremely boring after that.

I guess WoW is a love it or hate it game. I have four 70's and still loving it. Bring on WotLK! AoC is a great game though, but their both MMO's, so if you dont like WoW, then maybe it will be the same with AoC.

Funny how the WoW addicts say to stay away from AoC from what they've "read". If we went with what readers thought at an MMo's release then WoW would have followed the same path as the others.

Seems like you're referring to me from the "from what they've 'read'" remark. I haven't played WoW for months now and never managed to get past level 20 before getting bored and starting over. "Addict." Amusing.

I'd go with WoW - There is always things to do, updates all the time and an expansion pack on the horizon!

Definatley World of Warcraft. Everyone seems to hit a low level.... in a long span. (someone said 41 in two months) In wow, you have to make a char for each class, see which one you like the most and play till 70. Once your there its fun as anything! (Go on a PVP server if you want good PVP)

Keep this thread from becoming a flamming war and keep it bumped. The differences betweeen these two popular MMOs allows people in the board to read about some good facts and opinions without starting a new thread everyday. Please keep it bumped.

I would go with WoW.

Like the people have said above, AoC still has a lot of work to do on the game.

Currently, I'd stick with WoW. AoC is an unfinished MMO, just like WoW was before TBC. (Trust me, before TBC, WoW was a completely different game).

When funcom polishes Conan, adds new content and people start upgrading their systems to the max, it will kick WoW's butt, Im sure of it.

Ive played both and i personally enjoy AOC alot more. Better combat, better graphics, more mature theme, etc...

Each game still has some problems, as all MMO;s do. Funcom has done a great job with fixing problems so far and they look to be very commited to fixing things in the future.

So overall id say get AOC !
