WOW would be great if it had good game play.

I have friends at work who got me into wow, at first I hated it with a passion. I gave it a 2nd shot and got to level 45 and now see no reason to play anymore. The combat is so repetive and lame. Its the same over and over, there are like 4 different quests that you do over and over, Why is this game so popular? I dont get it. I had fun because my friends are 80's and power leveled me and I had awesome gear for my level but as time goes on it seems pointless. I already have 4 days played, and I feel like I have done almost the exact same thing the whole time. I am done

MMO's are generally more fun if you join a guild/play with friends. If you don't have friends then join a guild and make some WoW friends.

The problem is that you power-leveled your first toon. When you take away the challenge, you take away most of what makes allgames fun. As for your description of quests, I beg to differ. If anything you were so busy power leveling you missed out onall of the really cool stuff. WoW doesn't become lame until all you have left is raids and daily quests at 80.

WoW is by far my least favorite MMORPG that I've ever played (and I've tried most of them) but..I do agree that you may have ruined whatever enjoyment you might have gleaned from it by being power-leveled.

I played almost all MMORPG games but WOW is the best for me,my playing style.. Leveling is much more funny than others as well as raiding.I don't have much to write coz if you play other MMORPGs i think you'll see what i mean.

And i wonder that if you don't like WoW which MMORPG you enjoy while playing?
