im wondering how much WoW and it's two expansions and it's latest patch will take on my hard drive? im going to buy the WoW battle chest + lich king and i only have 13-19 gigs of free space , is it enough? how much the total size is? oh and off topic i know but does the game lag? i had the Pal version which is said to have much less lag and i didn't face any so i dunno.

I don't play WoW anymore but still have it on my PC. For me, it says 14.4 GB's. There could be another patch avalible now.

Really. I felt the same way about Crysis and NWN. Some games are way too repetitive.

11.7 GB. Btw, the Lich King install dvd actually has the complete install on it so you don't need to install the original,bc, or any of the patches prior to installing LK.

As with many things in life they get repetitive and old. It sounds like you're burned out with the game :)

I played about 3 14 day trials. I wasn't a fan of the waiting. Waiting for skills, waiting to warp, waiting to mine. It was kinda boring.

You should just wait to buy Lich King, there's really no point unless you're level 56 and know for sure you want to keep playing.

Really??? But I think there's something in this game. As of XFire - at least 102,000 gamers are playing WoW everyday. Many more are playing without using or logging on to XFIRE.

Though I didn't play WoW or any other MMORPG. It's very recently (in fact only 2 days back) I installed and played my first ever MMORPG game - Perfect World.

So, I just can't understand why many people hate WoW or many other MMORPGs?

I don't hate wow, it just gets old. They add 10 new level where you basically do the same thing from the last 10. Its very addictive. I'm not sure why, I was trapped in it too. I still have the urge to renew my sub so I can go and sit in dalaran for a few hours doing nothing at all.

Actually technically all video games are repetitive...you can say. Still RTS give you best replay value as well as FPS - multiplayer games. RPG on the other hand, give you better story with solid gameplay. After playing Perfect World for few hours, I think MMORPGs are here to stay and they can't be ignored.
